At the beginning of December, we made the fantastic trip to Brussels. One long weekend isn’t enough for all beauties of this magical city, especially at the time of Christmas, but it’s better than nothing.
We were focused on the most important and most famous parts of the city. Lovely square in the heart of the city, of course, Grand Place is my favorite. This is one of the most fantastic Christmas creations I have ever seen. With this huge Xmas three, the music with the dancing lights you can feel special Xmas mood. Absolutely fabulous. In addition, I adore this kind of architecture that surrounds the whole square. The next stop was Les Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert. The right place to buy original Belgian chocolate. Definitely, you should taste pralines. Not only the pralines but first of all, you must eat Belgian Waffle. In Belgium itself, there are several kinds of waffle, including the Brussels waffle and the Liège waffle. Personally, I am for the Liège waffle. Mmmm…
If you like to visit museums, I recommend the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History, because you can see “completely” history in one place. The setting of this museum is really impressive.
Of course, we visited Royale Palace of Brussels, St. Michael and St. Gudula Cathedral, Manneken Pis, European Parlament, Cinquantenaire Park etc. Generally, walking around the city is our favorite activity J, which gives us the opportunity to experience the city in the right way.
