Motivation for this post was the celebrating of Alice’s birthday. Yes, today we celebrate the 150th anniversary of Alice and from that reason are organised worldwide many events on this topic.

Inspiration for this story dates back from 1862 when Charles L. Dadgson travelled with the Liddell family to Oxford. In this time he had an idea about a real little girl Alice who goes looking for an adventure and told the family a story. The daughter of Henry Liddell was thrilled with the story and because of her wishes the story was written down and two and a half years later was published. Of course the author of the story is Charles L. Dadgson, but under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll.

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is definitely one of the best children’s books with a special note of magic and adventure. Fiction in the book encourages a fantastic imagination in children and helps people to live between real and unreal life. This part is very important in our mad world. I enjoy to be a dreamer every day in my imagine world. 🙂

In my opinion the best quotes from the book are:

“We’re all mad here.”

“I don’t think.–, -Then you shouldn’t talk.”

“Who in the world am I? -Ah, that’s the great puzzle!”

You should definitely reread adventures of Alice and let yourself to live in your world of imagination and reverie. I’m already in my world, because I believe that miracles are possible. 🙂
